Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, better known by his stage name, Future, is an American hip-hop recording artist from the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia.
After releasing a series of moderately successful mixtapes between 2010 and 2011, Future signed a major-label deal with Epic Records and launched his own label imprint, Freebandz. Since then, Future has released multiple mixtapes and in 2012 was chosen for the freshmen list of the annual XXL. His album Pluto had 5 singles that all found a spot in the Billboard Hot 100. His third album, DS2, was released back in July 2015 and earned him his very first Billboard 200 #1 ranking. Future has worked with many big names over the year and recently, back in in September 2015, released "What a Time to be Alive" with Drake featuring hits like "Jumpman" and "Big Rings".
